Kathleen Henson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, her love of music writing manifested itself at an early age. With the guidance of her music teachers she entered into the State Composition Competition at age 16, where she won second place with her original piano composition "Edge of Silence."Throughout the years she has accompanied many singers and choirs and has played everywhere from local bars to convention concerts and lots of stuff in between.Today you will still find her behind the piano, as a composer, accompanist, vocal coach, choral & musical theater director for several local groups and ensembles in the Twin Cities area.
